I think your choice might depend on what bugtrackers are used by the public organizations that maintain software that RT users rely on most. For example, if you're a web software developer, the value of a peer-to-peer bug system would be not having to use a separate bugtracker to figure out whether the bug report you just got is actually a Firefox bug that the Firefox people are working on already. If 'sd' can help you relate your user's bug to an already-reported Firefox bug, and keep the Firefox people in the loop about the importance of their bug to your own work, that would be cool.
